With 35 years of experience as a Maryland trial lawyer with a concentration in Family Law, Joseph M. Quirk has litigated and resolved hundreds of matrimonial, domestic violence, and other matters before Masters, Judges and juries. As a sole practitioner, Mr. Quirk is committed to providing personal, high-caliber, quality service to each client at every stage of their representation. He is the recipient of Martindale-Hubbell's highest rating, "AV", for 30+ years. Mr. Quirk was elected as a Fellow to the American College of Trial Lawyers in 2002 and has been chosen annually by his peers for inclusion in the "Best Lawyers in America" since 2001. He has also been elected to Maryland Super Lawyers from 2006 to present and in 2007 was named as one of the "Top 100 Lawyers in Washington, D.C." Mr. Quirk received the 2005 Pro Bono Legal Service Award from the John Carroll Society for outstanding contribution to the Archdiocesan Legal Network of Catholic Charities which serves legal needs of the less fortunate. He mentors inmates at the Montgomery County Pre-Release Center through the "Welcome Home Prisoner Re-Entry Program" affiliated with the Archdiocese of Washington Prison Outreach Ministry and the Montgomery County Department of Correction and Rehabilitation.
